Flying Carp Productions In 1999 we introduced Flying Carp Productions a full service film, video and multi-media production company creating communication that inspires and educates. The name comes via Children's Day in Japan, where the flying carp is a symbol of strength, courage and ambition, recognizing a tale of a carp that swam upstream all the way up to heaven and became a magnificent dragon. Flying Carp brings together years of award winning documentary film/video, advertising, multi-media and communication experience for your inspirational and educational project needs. Currently Flying Carp is working on the distribution of Occidental Encounters, a 21 minute personal documentary about inter-cultural marriage and has just completed a 45 minute documentary Dancing with God about the colorful and eclectic church community of St. Gregory's Church.
